Hackerrank is used as a screening interview to validate that bringing you onsite will not be a waste of time for both sides. If you did good enough to continue the process, it should have a minimal or no influence at all in your offer.
I am involved in the HR and onsite discussions for my team. My review of HR is part of my review of you. The code you write in HR is the only measure of the code you will send out for code review. Anyone who doesn’t review the HR is not viewing the full picture of the candidate.
