Are there any guys in their 40s that are single?
Where could I meet them that's not dating apps?

You might meet an occasional one in everyday life but I’m afraid dating apps are the way to go. Real life is great for meeting single guys up to your mid-twenties. Most men in their 40s (or even 30s) are married or in relationships. If they are divorced and have kids, they’ll spend a lot of time with them plus work. Also, once you hit that age you tend to spend time with people of many different ages. When you’re just out of college, you go to a party and everyone is the same age! That means it’s much harder to find a reliable place to meet some large set of single guys in their 40s. It just doesn’t really exist from what I’ve seen.
Some bunches of 40-something married folk have single friends. I’m a married guy in mid-30s and know a few single guys. It gets more rare as age progresses, but a setup from a friend is also likely to be a reliable way to meet a good match (without dating apps). You can go to dance or art classes. Bridge or chess club. Or take a class at a local university night school. Church. Lots of places other than apps. What do you think 40-something’s did 20 years ago before mobile phones and the internet?!
I’m going to assume you’re a woman in a similar age range. Correct me if I’m wrong. With that said, at your age, dating apps and friends of friends is your best bet. Men in their 40s can still get girls in their 20s and 30s so prepare for a very up hill battle. If you’re looking for a man of that age to also be financially attractive in addition to physically attractive then your odds are even worse. Good luck.
Data engineering would solve your problem...do some data scraping in facebook, analyze and filter data, send post targetted to single rich 40s.
