I had a third party recruiter reach out to me representing a data scientist / python SDE person with few months experience... How would they know I'm hiring (obviously I don't have this obnoxious "Hiring across all roles!" on my profile). If they're blanket mailing anyone who looks like they'd hire, isn't it an expensive use of LinkedIn? And do you people entertain agents/recruiters reaching out on behalf of candidates? Appears strange since the recruiter appeared to be from a legit firm.
