Are utilities much more expensive for a house than a rental apartment?
I been renting apts for some time. Utilities are less than 100 in general (California). Looking ads for ppl renting a master bedroom, I see that they say utilities are like 150 per person. Are utilities really that expensive for houses?

Per month, 3bd: Gas and electricity $100 internet $100 water $100 garbage $50 and we don’t heat/cool the house during work hours

Depends on the unit but usually they are mote expensive house. There is a larger space for a/c.
