Anyone have experience with Argo? Considering an offer from them, it’s very competitive. 210 base / 15% bonus / good amount of equity Ford had made a big bet on them so seems to have a reasonable shot at success

How much equity?
Hard to put a number on it because it’s profit interest rather than stock options. And the valuation is not public or really meaningful since there is no revenue yet, just ford investment. But by my math is is comparable to ~800k of illiquid stock
Is this offer on Bay Area or in Pittsburgh? The base and bonus is pretty good; adds up to 240K. Do they have 401K match? Their equity will be really hard to judge at this point. BTW, what’s your background; any specific domain expertise?
I didn’t have specific AI expertise. More of a generalist with a focus in distributed systems / scalable storage. But the position I’m being hired for is related to data infrastructure, not robotics
