Associates in Computer Information Systems: anyone hiring in Illinois?
Any companies in Illinois (chicagoland area) hiring? I have an associates in CIS and will have my Bachelor's in CS by end of 2020. Any advice, tips, and/or questions are welcome.
@betweenlit Currently I work as a senior payroll rep for about 3 years. Prior to this I had 4 years of tech experience at At&t mobility.
Tech experience? Please elaborate. I would highly suggest to finish the cs course first and try to get internships after. Then try about 1-2 internships just to get to know people and good momentum. While doing that, I would say try doing some LC for about 3-6 months (easy-medium) depending on how good you are. Then try applying to different companies including fang lol or better be a contractor in one of those companies as a swe or some tech job... just try to expand your network
