It's alright. The biggest SF office is all marketing and lawyers so I find it weird there. The Folsom office is all engineering. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
Folsom can feel a million miles from Harrison even though they're only about a block apart.
We are moving to a new office soon. I used to think that company values were culty before I worked at a big(ish) company. Especially when you interview, the company values will be mentioned quite a bit. But there is still a lot of personality and diversity at atlassian.
Don't know what the day to day is like as I only interviewed there. I think the founders wanted to maintain a no bs culture that rewards good behavior but it seems to have grown so fast and hard to maintain. It felt culty with many people repeating mantras like "Don't fuck the user" during the culture fit portion of an interview. I'm a little weary of such things though. I'm sure that someone that actually works will have a different opinion.
