Considering an L2 offer from Indeed, I’m feeling lowballed. Offer base is the same as my current base and my current perf bonus is flat 20k, houses here are 30% cheaper than Austin. The offer: Base - $120k Anniversary bonus - 13% Perf Bonus - 13% Sign on - $15k Offer TC - $151.2k Relo benefits offered but I dont consider relevant Current TC - $140k YoE - 7 LC - 30 Am I crazy thinking there’s no upside? I like the company culture but I wasn’t expecting this, maybe I am a crummy interviewee :/
Having lived in Austin, if you're coming from any other TX city, do not move unless you're getting at least a 20% pay bump. Otherwise you won't be able to maintain your current QoL.
Same thing happened with me at F5 Networks. Rejected it. It's a red alert. Think what will happen in there internal hikes if they are low balling now itself.
SDE?
Yes
Nope. That's low. Ask for 20% over current, and be prepared to walk away.
I received an L2 offer from them for around ~200k TC. I think that's close to where it tops out.
You didn't mention what position
Indeed Austin lowballs unless your have other offers

Don’t change job for such a low increase in TC. You will get frustrated after sometime.
