Hi. Looking to relocate from San Diego. I left my last job and have none now. Looking for IT PM job in Scottsdale and Austin. But I don’t know much about either. Like cost of living and good salary to live. Comment please? Looking for place where to start with no job and hopefully something will come up. THANK YOU!
Many reasons. Austin has great tech scene and FAANG presence. No state tax. Great food and culture. Is liberal as compared to other parts of texas, is H1B friendly.
Austin is undoubtedly a more vibrant city, but has a higher cost of living.
👍 What’s a good income? Like if in LA they offer u $90k, that would be a no no no nooo
Scottsdale and to a lesser extent Phoenix are the next coming of emerging cities. It’s the Austin of 5 year from now. Not just word on my part, I’ve bought rental property there because I believe in that area’s growth potential.
How about tech companies?
Austin
Definitely Austin when comparing with any AZ cities. But it's pretty boring specially for Southern CA folks. Note: I lived in San Diego, LA in the past.
Why boring? Nothing to do? How about salary wise? If I get around $95k+ is it good?
Yes, only a few options... But still better than Houston or Dallas... Natural landscape is also dull here.. but people don't move to Austin for natural beauty, but they relocate here to settle, raise their family.. quality of life is better, good schools, still affordable house... $95k+ is pretty decent but best spot would be $135k+
How did you like living in San Diego? Always wanted to move there

Why? Do u have more information about work, cost of living and a good salary?
Don't be stupid, Austin has tech. Scottsdale doesn't.
