I continue to get fast rejections by Facebook for PM roles (don’t even get to screener call) despite getting to onsites at Google, Dropbox, etc. Can’t seem to put my finger on it. Anyone at FB willing to look at my resume and tell me what’s up?
Try deleting your Facebook account first. (They know!!)
They know what you did last summer
Similar experience and I’ve gotten referred multiple times for my apps. Is there a cool down period if you’re rejected without a screener?

What do you mean "the resume round"? If you got to an on-site (with the 5 interviews onsite) then it has nothing to do with your resume anymore
I meant to a screener call with HR after applying. Just updated the post to reflect
With some companies it's extremely hard to get through the front door without internal referrals. Google is more fair to people showing up at their door than others. The rest of it might be luck, and/or not specifically tailoring the resume to the role. Which is again hard to do if it's a generic role through the front door. Try contacting recruiters on LinkedIn to get that psuedo-inside referral
