Autonomous driving enthusiast
Hola fam! I’m an average joe software engineer working in SF. I am (heavily) interested and very passionate about autonomous tech. I love car and technology and the marriage of two gives me perfect opportunity to build something majestic and awesome. I need some advice on how do I go by? I don’t care if it’s Tesla or ford or GM or Byton. I just wanna contribute in this field because I love this branch of software engineering.

How do designers, UI, ux get into this field
There is a huge effort in all companies on how to convey information to users, gain their trust and also help them understand what is the car doing.
If you love cars, how are you advocating for a technology that will result in banning human driving?
Nice one! I don’t think human driving would be completely obliterated. There’d still be rolls Royces, Bentleys, Cameros and Camrys around. And besides, I’m actually more interested in transportation part of it where i picture it to be completely autonomous (no human drivers at all).
I'm sure a developed and adopted autonomous driving technology would make human driving illegal in the developed countries, or make it an unaffordable luxury at the very least. Which is a shame, if you ask me, as I enjoy driving. It's flying-like feeling, very entertaining and satisfying.
Udacity self driving course and their hiring event
Did you participate? From what I’ve seen it’s not helpful. Only 1-2 good placements from 800 person class, and they were Mech engineer doing hardware.
