I am a 2003-2007 BTech. Just out of curiosity I calculated average percentage increase in salary. For me it has gone up by 18% per year average. My wife 9YoE averaging 16%. Wanted to learn how does it look for you and what shaped ur career. Both of us have spent a few yrs at startups helping us with the biggest jumps for our careers. Salary cannot outgrow economy forever. I don't know where you are based. The US economy grows at around 2-3% a year, so if you are in the US, your salary will plateau at some point. What you describe is probably normal at the beginning of your career, just because you start from a low base.
