Hi everyone, Received an offer from Amazon for the position of AWS Program Manager (Non Tech Role) Base - 130 k Signing Bonus - 20k/20k RSU - around 10 k I have 5 years of experience and the role is based in Seattle. Can you please tell me if this is competitive? Looking at other searches i do feel i can get close to 200k. If someone here was in my position, previously, how did you negotiate it? Also, is Amazon how you expected when you took the offer? Any input is really appreciated! Thanks
What level? If this is an L5, then you are within the range. Non-tech roles have lower TC than the Tech program managers. $200k would be at a very high band for an L5 program manager role.
Level? That seems like L4
The recruiter didn’t mention the level. I will get that information.
Happy to look it up for you on Amazon's JobFinder if you feel like sharing job ID. PM if you like.
How do you find the level based on Job I’d?
You need to be in Amazon to see that
Got the information. It’s Level 5
It’s actually really good for L5 non tech Program Manager, very competitive. For RSUs, how many shares did you get offered?
Curious if $10k worth of shares are for yr 1 only or overall for the next 4 years.
I am not sure if certain companies treat compliance as technical or not. Some companies don’t, hence called it non tech.
$10k for 1 year
That is a competitive offer. Your 4 yr tc will increase as more RSU vests. Your yr 3 and 4 tc looks to be $210k at current stock prices.
