I know a low performer who thinks he's doing a pretty good job cause his manager keeps moving him from one project to another.
Google. You just somehow be competent enough to get in. Once you're in you can rest and vest as much as you want. But I heard things are slowly changing in Google too.
Don’t think Google is heaven. Many managers who came from toxic company now(e.g 🍌) There was a post in internal channel about a L3 got PIPed in first 8 months
