So I have a SWE internship lined up for this summer at Google for which I'm super excited! But I spent a lot of time in host matching so before I finally got my offer I wasn't sure if I'd land an internship this summer and I went ahead and applied for a fall internship. Eventually I was matched with a host and landed a summer offer. A few weeks ago I saw a position for research intern at Google and I asked my recruiter if I could consider that for the fall, but she told me they couldn't consider me for any internships until I finished my summer internship. A few days ago however, I got an invitation to do the candidate questionnaire for the fall internship. Should I ignore it or did my recruiter give me wrong info?

Best to be honest with your recruiter
I have been honest with my recruiter. What made you think I had been dishonest?
I told her the day after I applied for the fall internship that I applied for it and she basically said good idea.
