Background Check on graduation date
I’m doing a summer internship with {Amazon, Microsoft} right after graduating and they said they’d be doing a background check with me 8 weeks before my start date. I told them i’m graduating on Dec 2019 when I’m graduating on June 2019. Will they be able to see that i’m graduating in June if they do the background check (Truescreen) in April 2019? My worry is that I have to declare my degree candidacy with my school before then, and they will notice I’m graduating before the internship. I know these companies only allow interns who are continuing school after the internship.
Most of the background checks don't even show all the data to the recruiters. My last one from hire right just sent an email to the recruiter and cc'd me that "xxxx candidate meets company standards". They will verify what you put on the background check application. Put accurate info on this that is what matters.
In my experience (with Apple) you enter the data into the background check website yourself. And they compare it against the info they pull. You’ll be fine. I respect the hustle!
You'll be fine. All they check is that you graduated that year. Plus, most companies are very flexible with those things. Nothing to worry about
But I want it such that they don’t know I graduated that year. I was under the impression that the big 4 arent too lenient

Ask them. When I joined amazon right out of school, I still had 3 credits left to graduate -that is to say Amazon was fine with this, not that graduation date mismatched
