Background check / credit check
Looking at doing program management for FB or Airbnb or other fang in the future. Will they look at my credit? Program managers for csr typically don't actually handle money but basically do program management as in figure out who gets grants and how much. Accounting/ finance will usually do money transfers. Can any FB or Airbnb recruiter shed insight? Tc 80k Yoe 12
I think all positions pull credit w/background as standard but it is not considered for all positions.
I guess I'm concerned that bad credit because I'm way underpaid will potentially work against me to get a job to get me out of debt (basically putting me in a vicious cycle of not being able to get a good job because of credit but debt keeps me from getting a good credit because I can't get a good job)
I’ve heard rumors about bad credit applicants getting low balled. Not the case for me in my most recent job. Not sure about low pay in existing positions. That didn’t stop them from cutting me an offer close to 75% of band.
