I've been interviewing for months and got burned out from all the rejection. Cancelled most of my interviews to focus on un-burning out myself, but I kept Google's since I'm curious what interviewing there is actually like. I haven't done any specific prep for the interview. The interview is today. Is it a bad idea for me to go to the interview without preparing? Interviewing for PM role. TC: $450/week (unemployment)
I think its a good phone screening question: "Estimate ROI of preparing". Follow up question: "compare it to working hard for promo".
Why would you cancel interviews? Your TC is bad
All the rejection has affected my psyche and I started acting negative during interviews. I'm not normally a negative person at all, so I didn't want that to continue. I cancelled interviews to take a break and explore some hobbies, rebuild my confidence.
What companies did you get rejected from? Do you know why you got rejected?
Ur interview is today. It's not a bad idea. Don't cancel last minute. March in there like u own the place.
Thanks that was just the confidence boost I needed
U got this OP. U have learnt from past failures. And life has prepared u for this. Go. Show them what u got.
I can relate to your situation OP. My recommendation is to not prepare and go in clear minded. You don't need this job, as much as you think you do. Go on and have a chat casually but professionally. Tell them about yourself and your skills. And if they want you they'll come to you
Bad idea to do anything anywhere without preparing.
I figure I have little to lose, just the time today. If anything, I get to see Google's cool office
Yes you should certainly go today and get the experience. It would have been so much better if you had also thought of getting the job along with the experience.
Yolo
Some of the best interviews are when you don't want the job; you have nothing to lose. Just go and should it suck, well you weren't prepared anyway.
Lol this is so true
Also, take a Xanax to take the edge off
I'm microdosing psilocybin today lol
No, bay area
If you need drugs to do a job interview you have bigger issues

Do PMs need interview skills ? 😜
Honestly I think I haven't interviewed as well in the past because I stressed myself out with prepping. I think I do need some preparation, but is it a bad idea for me to go to this without preparing? I'm not expecting an offer, I just want to interview honestly and see what it's like so I can do better if I interview there again in a few years
I think it’s worth a shot to go without any preparation, in fact giving interviews is also a preparation
