I have 10+YOE in corporate banking/commercial lending and want to transition to a FinTech company where my risk/underwriting and commercial lending experience could be utilised. Has anyone made this jump? Or any advice as to where to start looking? I am tied to the New England area (close to Boston) so opportunities would have to be here or remote.
Look for Project Finance or Capital Markets or Structure Finance roles. Companies would appreciate your banking experience and connections.
I was really looking to get out of traditional banking and get into a more startup atmosphere where I can still leverage my banking experience. Project and structured finance is similar so what I’m doing now. Thanks for the input though.
