Okay. So I recently interviewed at Amazon. You’ll find an extra person with the actual interviewer sniffing around and writing stuff down about you. Bar raisers mainly evaluate Amazon’s principles. They usually come with the hiring manager but not a rule or so.
Looks like your HM took you from behind and offered you a job at Amazon. I shared what I observed. Btw I’m not in TCS but a manager at Amazon. Now FO before I fire your sorry ass.
It’s like asking an undercover cop if he’s a cop right before he’s about to cuff you. It doesn’t matter in the moment, but is useful information after the interview. If you know did well with the bar raiser, you stand a better chance.
Asking for bar raiser information is not right. Its against the policy and also means all candidates are not being treated equally if you get that info.
You will get hired if u did one round bad and very well on other rounds. Depends on the hiring manager too whether he wants to extend offer or look for a better candidate
I didn’t do so well on the coding questions. By the time I got done with the lp questions and understood the poorly worded coding question, I had less than 15 mins left. I didn’t have time to write optimal solutions. For example, I had a dp question and didn’t have time to memoize it.

If you really wanna know, it's probably the interviewer from a different team than the rest.
Strong no hire.

Other interviewers can fight for you.
