Bay Area(350K) to Austin(???)
What would be the best total compensation I should/I could get in Austin if I want to move from Bay Area to Austin? Current total compensation: 350 K per year
$200-250k probably, which would actually put you ahead

Not sure about TC but If you are going to stay at Facebook then they adjust base by the following method: Bay to Austin = 12% cut on base Austin to Bay = 18% increase on base
RSU would stay put, right? I’ll be joining Fb soon. Might want to consider Austin over MPK
Rsu would stay put. And initially hiring salaries might be lower for Austin. I was only referring to when you transfer internally. I don't think that offset will apply if negotiating location in offer. Would be good to learn that so keep us posted!
