Any good suggestions for 1 day road trip? preferably with some farming areas covered.
Are you and friends into beer, wine, views, or hikes?
Beer
Big Sur for sure. Go to nepenthe for a meal and enjoy the views. Lots to see in Big Sur.
what to see in Big Sur? other than the bridge.
Bridge is actually far from the best part for me. Nepenthe is gorgeous, especially if weather is nice and you can sit outside. Fantastic food. Great cute little shop their too. Pfeifer Falls are super iconic - waterfall into the ocean. Further south you can see the elephant seals certain times of year and there's the 2nd biggest mansion in the US - Hertz Castle. Great tours and history with some wild African animals you may catch a glimpse of. Monterey is on the way with it's world famous acquarium. So is Carmel. Town is great. Santa Cruz too depending where you're coming from. There is a purple sand beach. And redwoods. Mostly the drive is just stellar with tons of cool stops and good views the whole way.
