Bay area tech and housing trends

SF and Oakland will get a lot hotter in next few years and become as gentrified as Mtv, santa clara, Menlo, palo alto, los gatos, etc

The <800k homes in east bay will be the engine to jumpstart Oakland and continue to fuel SF unicorn hype

Sry low effort post, but we're all seeing these trends right now.. What do you think? Where will be the next hot city that suddenly blows up?

Thinking of cases of cities like SJ and Sunnyvale already blowing up, whats next? And SF with all the startups.. Is Oakland a good contender since it has nowhere to go but up at this point?

But every economist on the planet has predicted recession “sometime in the next two years” since about, oh, 2013. If it actually happens, wouldn’t demand crater?

SF will get a lot hotter due to all the IPO, Oakland due to distance to SF. Other East Bay cities, not so much. Nothing is worse than getting on crappy Bart and stand for 50+ min. Dublin area is not great since not many company moving there.

Next city that blows up will not be in the Bay area. It will be wherever the FANG or the ubers build their second HQ.

What about San Leandro the city that borders Oakland? Only 3 stops to Lake Meritt and 2K sq ft suburban SFHs in the SL hills where you can see the entire Bay
