Becoming a PM, currently an SDE

How many have made the change to PM? Is it easy? I'm getting a bit bored with coding so was mulling it.

Well I did change my profile to PM recently,I think PM is more boring and monotonous job.You become easily replaceable by choosing this stream,also I am not sure if you have realised that it's a thankless job.. credit always go to a tech. Arch or someone more technical
