Faith is a gift, it'll come when you need it the most.
TC?
God might exist. But not the god most people believe in That god is too much of a contradiction to be possible.
Wow what role in MS pays that salary?
The blessed one.
I believe we live in a simulation.
U believe incorrectly. Most likely you have read a scentence or two of Nick Bostrom and it makes u feel smart just mouthing it off without understanding.
^^this
Believe in caste system.
Everyone has a belief on how the world is structured, why things are the way they are, what is right and wrong. Some people are just honest about it and call it a religion and say they choose to have faith in what their family has believed for thousands of years because it gives them purpose. Others claim to be irreligious and above it, but deep down inside they still harbor religious feelings. And what you’re seeing today with woke millennials, these people are actually more religious and more fundamentalist and more militant about their belief system than those in the traditional religions.
Faith, buddy talk about faith. Don't talk about religion. That wasn't the question here. So u r saying just because u are religious and believe the same crap ur ancestors believed in, so everyone else is just as gullible as u r Boy u must have taken some good course on projection.
Yeah, no. Maybe you can’t conceive of anyone not having spiritual / religious faith, but your beliefs about my beliefs are incorrect. Moral values != spiritual faith. I think we shouldn’t be jerks to each other but not because I believe in ghost stories.
Yeah so think about the laws of physics, perfect simple equations that are perfectly balanced. Look at Maxwell’s equations when expressed with vector calculus. You can’t make that shit up, it’s only logical that there must be a master programmer who created these laws that this universe runs on. Plus the Big Bang + increasingly expanding universe points to a beginning and an end, which pretty much proves the existence of a creator. In fact the name Big Bang was coined by an atheist physicist who didn’t believe in the idea (despite scientific evidence) and said the phrase sarcastically...just saying.
"In fact the name Big Bang was coined by an atheist physicist who didn’t believe in the idea (despite scientific evidence) "- just goes to proove that science stands on its own and doesn't need a sugar daddy to approve of it. "Plus the Big Bang + increasingly expanding universe points to a beginning and an end, which pretty much proves the existence of a creator."- how did u jump from we don't know to a creator? "You can’t make that shit up, it’s only logical that there must be a master programmer who created these laws that this universe runs on." - Again don't know doesn't mean jump to any conclusion.
You see horse tracks on the sand. Do you think the horse tracks must have created themselves? Got there by accident? Or maybe just conclude a horse was there? So what about the earth, stars, biology, physics, chemistry, everything?
This discussion would be cool in 2009. No one gives a shit anymore. Happy you found Jesus bro.
It's faith... that's all.
Faith = believe without evidence.
Is it the case that what you believe comes completely backed with evidence ?
