Figuring out which one to buy. Looking for other recommendations too. Not an iPhone customer, so no Apple Watch. What I care about: 1. Display 2. Fitness, Sleep tracking 3. Some Gamification 4. Good integration with Android Currently have a Samsung Gear Fit 2 and looking to upgrade.
Buy iPhone, then Apple Watch
No. Thanks.
Yeah fuck the Apple Watch
Had an ionic. Sold it for a Garmin. Much happier.
Which Garmin? And, what did you not like about Ionic and what makes you like Garmin?
Just got a Garmin Vivomove HR
Iwatch
I don't know about other watches, but I have ionic - very accurate sleep measurements and heart rate monitor. I verified the heart rate monitor against the chest strap that I had before. Now I don't have to wear the chest strap. The major complain is the battery life. And the speed of charging is ridiculous - takes about 3 hours.
Thanks, vor! This sounds great. How bad is the battery life? Also, ever felt that Ionic is too huge to wear? Especially, while sleeping? Does it by any chance track different workouts?
I think the battery lasts a few days, but since charging takes so long, I just charge it every morning when I get up. It's usually around 75% and takes about an hour to get to 100. Yes, it tracks all the workouts, even swimming. Tracks treadmill very accurate. And it's not big at all - I am a woman BTW. And you can also load music on the watch and listen to it via Bluetooth
I'm happy with Garmin Vivoactive 3. Check DC Rainmaker review, it's very detailed. There is a summary at the end with the differences between this one and Fitbit Ionic: www.dcrainmaker.com/2017/10/garmin-vivoactive-3-in-depth-review.html

I love my Fitbit Versa
This might sound sexist, and, I'm sorry for that. The looks of Versa seemed like it targeted the women market segment. Do you feel otherwise?
I've heard great reviews about Versa as of now. How's the battery life? Does it have power saving mode? Does it have different watch modes?
