Best career track and company for entrepreneurship

What would be the most useful career track if you intend to start your own tech company later on? Product, strategy, or some type of a biz dev track? Which company? Say what you say about Amazon and its ๐ŸŒ, it seems to me like a place where a new grad could learn a lot. Of course, there is the โ€join a startupโ€ option as well, but Iโ€™d say itโ€™s much harder to find actually good startups at an early phase. Iโ€™ve now done Eng and DS, and by day it seems more and more like you can start a great company with shitty tech as long as the business is solid, so thatโ€™s the reason why Iโ€™m considering more business heavy tracks.

Iโ€™ve seen startups in NYC with really shitty tech and even shittier business but a TON of money. In those cases itโ€™s all about connections. Taught me a lesson about reality. Some big non-tech companies are investing a shit ton into tech in order to stay relevant, like Walmart and some traditional car companies. Their executives donโ€™t understand tech at all but they are buying startups with shitty tech with crazy money. All you need is some connection and ability to BS

That sounds like a good strategy if you want money quickly, but Iโ€™m looking for a more longer term solution, meaning good understanding of business.
