My ranking: G > FB > Amzn > MSFT
I however see a lot of successful PMs start at MSFT. Is it a good place to learn the ropes and transition out?
MSFT hands down. Microsoft pays the same salary as software developers. The best route is PM 1,2 moving to Amazon for senior title (yes they give the title for very few years of experience or right out of MBA), then come back as principal to Microsoft in two years.
MSFT is one of the very few companies that hire fresh grads in pm role. It's a double edged sword though. On one hand it's kinda hard to have the leadership, influence, and soft skills needed to be successful as a pm, but if you have good mentors, team and a supportive manager, it can really help you get an early start.
Lyft is paradise for PMs, lot of impact!
Agree Lyft is the best choice for pm

Googlers entered Sundar’s office in protest and threatened to stay
PM’s run shit at Amazon, whether or not they know what they’re doing. Not a bad deal.
Google is so overrated. Horrible place for PMs. PMs rule at places like amzn
