Best place to rent a house around redmond

Doing some research, found the following options: Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish, Kirkland, Issaquah, Woodinville, Everett. Would like to rent a home/townhome and keep budget <$2500. Dont mind commuting 15-20mins. Married with a kid but not in school yet. Which area might fit my budget and the houses are in good shape?

<$2500 that close to Redmond? Good luck.

Cursory zillow search shows houses and townhomes in Redmond for that budget now. Spring /summer might be a little bit more difficult but definitely possible in Redmond right now.

Try hotpads.com

Thanks for the suggestion. Is it better than zillow?

Woodinville or Everett

U might find something in redmond, older townhome, but it will not b updated. I had same budget and moved to DT Issaquah in older duplex but with nice backyard for 2150. That's 20 to 30 mins to main campus though

Everett is cheap but not a great area. I would suggest Issaquah for schools and the city but Woodinville may be more in your budget.

Reach out to any friends in Microsoft to keep an eye and share some internal postings. You can find a 2-3 bedroom townhouse in that range in Redmond. You can try workdl.com too. On a side note if your budget is <=2700, there will be many more options in the area, I feel 2600-2700 is usual listing for small home around Microsoft and I can see two such options right now on our internal do’s.

Either inc budget or commute time. Kenmore, bothell, Woodinville

Even a good 2bed apt in bothell costs 2k+.
