Best startup to work in India
In Seattle, looking to move back. Want to explore the option of joining a startup. One of the reasons is, autonomous teams. FAANG companies usually have 2nd tier work in India and teams have to closely work with USA teams. I'm hoping that won't be an issue with startups. Few names I heard Paytm Ola Oyo Swiggy There may be many more, which I'm not aware. Suggest best startup in India with reason. TC: 350k YoE: 10 ---------- Update: Expected role - Principal engineer/ Architect Domain - building large scale distributed systems, large scale data systems with an application in Artificial intelligence TC expectation - Around 1 - 1.5 cr.
How much TC you are expecting?
Good question. In Amazon India, my level engineers are paid 80 lakhs (50 base + 30 stocks). But first couple of years after my move, my TC will be well above 1.5 crores. My expectation will be somewhere between those 2 numbers.

It's too early for Cred, but, have many seen very good reviews. Also, the team is solid. I'm guessing they can execute well.
Flipkart, the company has a lot of engineering goodness yet to be bought. Plenty of challenging problems. We just scratched the surface with the huge amount of user data we have and are investing huge on engineering.

That's an interesting option. Like many I have some misconception about living in Arab countries. Can you share little more info about living standards? What about pay?

Yes, I would also prefer Rubrik over Flipkart. Still it depends on the domain you want to work on.
Oyo and Paytm both have a bright future. Will mint millionaires.
