T-Mobile has the cheapest plans, but I have to call in every month because they mess up my bill.
And a crappy network. But truly awesome roaming agreements internationally. I get much better service outside the US then inside because TMO roams onto networks better than its own. Which is why I keep it and suffer. Thank God for wifi calling!
Yep, international roaming and my fiancé being Active Duty gets us half off. The only reasons I haven’t dropped them yet.
Didn’t Verizon recently started a $110/2 unlimited plan?
TMobile One Plus - $160/4 + free Netflix + free unlimited inflight WiFi + free data roaming (2G speeds).
Is your bill consistently late and full of errors? It drives me crazy.
Better question is why do you even want to pay for unlimited. Unless you're a truck driver you should live and work under a Wi-Fi
Go for a lot of road trips and listen to a lot of music. Plus a lot of local hikes.
You can download a lot of that music on your phone with Spotify
Go T-Mobile and look hard at what’s available. One Plus International provides truly UNL tethering, get that on a hotspot. If coverage is a concern, get the latest phone, ideally wait for one with 600mhz if your an iOS fan so it works with the $9B in new spectrum we’re rolling out. Many people mistake poor network for an old phone that doesn’t have the latest tech to work best on the newest network tech.
Again, T-Mobile constantly sends me incorrect, late bills. At my TC the hourly rate resolving it negates any real savings.
There are paths to solve, no billing system is perfect, I hope you can find the spare time to get it worked out or spend 5x more time switching. That said, for most people the customer service *see multiple years running top in industry* is great and the company legitimately cares about making broad improvements to the fundamentals of the business/experience/industry.
Also, what's the best option to cut comcast cable altogether and go with mobile hotspot? We do a lot of youtube and Netflix everyday as well as work from home 2 to 3 days a week.
Even if your carrier didn’t throttle you, mobile hotspots are just not the way to go for at home. Think latency, reliability, etc. Do you have another ISP option other than Comcast?
