Considering similar offers from Seattle downtown and Bellevue. Live in Bothell / Mill creek. Which is better commute on a daily basis?

I live in North Creek/Martha Lake area. Bothell to Bellevue, no question. I commute to Fremont and it’s horrible. While the latter is not downtown, you get a taste of what it would be like to drive even farther south to get to DT Seattle - no thank you.

If I worked in DT Seattle (say, Pioneer Square), no, I wouldn’t drive but use public transit. However, the question was which was a better commute and, not knowing the situation, the person may have to drive.

If they’re in Bothell, the 522 and 312 offer pretty good options.

hiUV25, yes, sometimes. However, many people are opting to take those routes, too. It all depends on when you leave; otherwise it’s a wash. I’m happy I could get more house out here in Bothell, but the commute is crappy.

Sorry, my response was for OP. Getting to Fremont kinda sucks from anywhere besides the SR 99 corridor.

No apologies necessary. 😉 Commuting stinks no matter how you slice it. I wish our public transit was on par with Portland; their transit system is much better than ours here.

Go to Google Maps and get directions for the times of day when you would commute.

      OP
The commute time was similar for a few days I checked. That's the reason I posted it here to get to know from folks who might have first hand experience.

Traffic in Seattle is fairly moderate by big city standards, so neither would be particularly bad by car. which would be easier to reach with public transit? Don't live in bothell so I don't know that piece
