      You made the erroneous assertion that the only way a black man could get hired at Facebook is through an Affirmative Action “quota” program. (Thereby implying that they had to lower the bar for entry.) You made that sweeping, insulting claim due to the color of his skin.

      How is that NOT racist and bigoted?

My argument isnt remotely similar to your false accusation as I claimed Affirmative action is real and I used this man as an example of particular fallacy where under-qualified candidate may enter under this racist policy. You need to end with false accusations thats going left and right and bring some real meat into your argument

      No, he’s referring to bonafide “affirmative action” policy/programs, not diversity outreach initiatives.

      He believes under qualified-candidates are being admitted into Facebook through actual “Affirmative action racist” policies.

      I don’t think that’s what he’s saying exactly.

      Actual example (not at FB): engineers worked on some imaging/photography software, where the software had intended results when users were caucasian. Once African-American users used the software on their images, it became evident they had not done any testing with any African-American subjects in photos, because many bugs came to light.

      To rephrase in an equivalent but more obvious way: "black staff are incapable of writing software to connect white communities".

      1. Black skin recognition is a known hard problem and the story about not recognizing black people is a text book example for CV. Rookie mistake not having diverse examples set.

      2. 70%+ of ML/ranking engineers in FB are Chinese - which is about the same rate as in ML PhD programs in US. I would rather believe the system only working on Asians.
