Blinders, help me get an idea of the TC scene in India
👆. Looking for some median TC numbers for L4/SDE2 equivalent for some or all of the following companies:- Google (L4) Amazon (SDEII) Uber(SDEII) LinkedIn(Sr SWE) Apple(ICT3) Flipkart (SDE2/3) Ola Salesforce (SMTS) Atlassian Stripe(L2) For SWEs with ~4 yoe. Edit: 2.5 yoe, 26LPA
I did not know India has such high salary packages just with 2.5 YoE ....nicely done!!
SMTS : 28 - 32 Base, 10% bonus, 30k-50k usd stocks for 4 years

Huh, SMTS base is higher than I thought. That's top of L62 range at MSFT, maybe going into L63 (Senior SWE) range.
Google Amazon Flipkart ola pay about 20 LPA afaik

OP , i dont agree that SWE1 make more that that . for ex FOR SE 1 AMAZON is 13 base. Microsoft is 12/16 base. Google is 16 base. Flipkart is 16 base. Though ctc varies and first year intake. but at any cost and after tax reduction it cant be more than 20

You mean at Amazon or overall ? Overall average at Tier 1 & 2 companies should be in the mid 30s, I think.
LI SSE range starts from 25 and goes upto 42 for base salary. 10% variable and rsu for 4 yrs ranges from 50K to 125K
So according to some rough calc, SSE tops out at ~75LPA ? No way you can hit that with 4-5 yoe, right ? At least 7-8 yoe + significant performance is probably needed to hit the upper bound.
Exactly as sse exp ranges from 6 to 14+yrs of exp
