Block$$$: Crypto “watch” of the week - ICX
Update: At the time of this post, ICX was trading at $2. It hit $3, then dropped to $1.80 after the recent correction and now trading at $4.22. I’ll be hodling this for a while! For anyone who took the plunge with me, it’s a bit early to tell, but congrats! ********************************************** Alright guys. This one is tricky and it’s not really a pick, but worth looking into as there is a lot of hype surrounding this coin. ICON (ICX) coins are about to hit the market. Original price was $0.13. ICO price was 2500 ICX/ETH. ETH has gone up quite a bit, so prices will have to 2.5~3x for ICO investors to break even. Institutions/syndicates got a slight discount, so they got in at 2750 ICX/ETH. ***Coinmarketcap prices are not reflective of true value. upper $2 lower $3 on opening is insane. ICX coins are still locked as of this post. My thesis is, when the coins finally flood in, price will crash down, then it should gradually. Photos show it’ll be listed on OKex. I think it’ll be listed on Binance soon. EtherDelta might be a decent option. Keep your eye on it. It’ll be super volatile in the beginning, but they have some great announcements lined up. There is a wave of ICX being released to investors in Jan. No telling if they will hold or sell.

@OP Don’t you think this is a cut throat segment? With all the giants like Cardano, EOS and Ethereum improvement plans.. I know it’s really early.. but how did you get excited about this project? Is this project more on the swing trade category or long term?
Good question. Of all of the I CO’s that I have done the ones that have grown the most have been protocol level projects. Qtum, NEO, Ethereum, EOS. ICON is Korean specific. Are they going to deliver an amazing product I’m not entirely sure. But Korea is the hottest market in the world. It’s got some legs.
