SWE 3 may probably be same as Senior, one level below Staff. I haven't seen SWE 3 as an official title inside the company.
Is the hiring bar of PaaS team higher in general? I see many ppl with 4 years yoe as Senior.

It's not higher per se. We're looking for Senior engineer on the team to have prior experience with k8s, containerization etc ideally

Swe1, swe 2, swe 3, sr swe, staff swe
Is SWE3 staff?
nopes .. its definitely lower than senior because I interviewed for senior and the team thinks swe 3 is better for me
