Does Broadcom sponsor H1B visas and green cards? Broadcom is acquiring CA Technologies. So, what would happen to someone coming from CA who is having H1B status with an approved I140? Would Broadcom continue to sponsor H1B and green card?
The Broadcom needs to file an amendment petition to become successor of interest for ur CA tech I-140. It means the future job offered by CA tech will be taken over by Broadcom. Otherwise, you would only be able to utilize your priority date when starting new perm.
GC sponsorship is no longer needed if you have i140 for more than 6months. You can use that for lifetime of H1b.
Yes. I do have I140 for more than 6 months. However, what would happen if that company no longer exists. For example CA would no longer remain a separate entity after its acquisition by Broadcom completes. Would the I140 still remain valid?
Yes it becomes yours
