I just passed the dark night of the soul. I feel I made a lot of progress, but I am a bit disoriented what comes next. Anyone here that can point me in thr right direction?

The world has passed through several dark nights. Souls have been destroyed, but we are just as disoriented. there is no progress. Cause religion still exists.
Agree about organised religion, even Buddhism. But will point out Buddhism != theism
What has religion got to do with it? I think souls are lost because it yearn to connect back with its creator. It looks to find purpose of life. Why are we born and why are we here - just don’t make sense to come here for short time (in context of the universes lifetime). Whats after death, it just can’t be the end of everything? Sorry don’t want to make it too long.

I share your feeling. Buddhism teaching reveals the true nature of our suffering and gives us peace. Remind yourself that daily and medidate to keep your mind from external disruptions.

Man... I am an atheist. Wish I wasn't. Damn freaky to think about death and the inevitable cessation of time.
Death is just a transition, nothing to worry about, but one should prepare for it. Atheism takes an easy way out, without any explanation for a lot of life things.
