Business Intelligence Engineer - Amazon Seattle
I have 6.5 years of experience working as DE/BI engineer. I got call from Amazom recruiter for a BI position in Seattle, he has asked for expected salary range. I have questions 1. What should be salary range as per my experience for BI engineer at Amazon Seattle? 2. I heard that there is recently some change with regards to BI enginner positions at Amazon, any information on that? Thank you in advance!

What range did you give? Did you go forward with the interview? If so how was it. I see them posting these positions in NYC as well and I'm curious about it.
To your second question - they are moving towards making BIE a tech role which would require a coding bar for interviews and a may increase salaries a bit. Not official yet.

Nope. it is becoming tech. It was announced. Currently it is non-tech
