Not a relatively bad time as avg time from listing to sale is taking longer. However, it really depends on the area.

Why buy now when prices will be lower for the next few years? Rent now buy in 3 years. The CA real estate market is almost like clock work how it booms and busts.
Condo = worst investment ever.
Why?
Most people buy a house to put a family there or have a growth mindset. They don’t look for condos so you might have problems with selling it later
