Why not in Renton? Relatively cheaper than in those places.

There are houses in Renton that are within Issaquah school district. Are you aware about that?

The growth should be proportional to your investment. I bought a 350k townhome in Redmond downtown in 2014, it's 720k now.

Home as in single detached house? Yes! But probably not on that TC.

200k TC is plenty if you have the right down payment.

So many questions. How much do you have already, how much is your TC tied to RSUs, are you going to tell? How much down payment m, what is your mortgage rate, where to do you want to buy, what’s your month expense....

Seattle? Never. 50% go totally crazy in that doom and gloom

It's hard to time the market. This year is better than the last, for sure. Both price-wise and competition-wise. It may be a bad time to buy only if the recession finally comes but Fed and other folks work hard to avoid it.
A lot of people worried that recession was coming in 2016 but it didn't and the houses grew about 50% over last 3-4 years
