I am joining Microsoft soon and moving from Austin, Texas. I have a family here and plan to either buy a CPO Honda civic in Austin or do it in Seattle. What will be the relocation bonus/facilities at Microsoft. What will save me money. I am planning to get it financed in both cases. Thanks!
- Samsung EternalACTBuying a new car and moving to Texas doesn't save you the sales tax. They'll charge you when you register the car.
- New / EngsparkedCars esp like Honda civics don’t fluctuate in price much as you change location within the country. The only real difference you’ll see is sales tax and conditionof the cars. Cars from the south are generally going to be in better condition with less rust than those up north.
Paying for car transport to Seattle won’t be cheap; honestly it’s probably a coin flip and I’d just buy in Seattle because it’s probably a bit less hassle although you do have a gun to your head once you get there so you better be fine deciding with limited options
