I️ spent time in sales and marketing for Coca-cola and Pharma. Build an digital Ad/marketing agency on the side that generates 2-3M/ year in revenue. Love learning and my dream is to work at a tech company but my coding experience is limited to building websites and that is self taught. Any advice???
Someone has to make coffee and give the massages.
Are you looking for a job as an engineer/developer? There are lots of non-programmer jobs.
You could try to get a job as a PM (product manager) at Google. You can likely find role description and examples of interview questions on the web. It does require at least some technical skills as far as I know. And then there are good old sales (no technical skills needed apart from knowing AdWords really well, responsibilities include selling a lot of ads to big clients).
I don't code and I'm at fb. More than half the company don't:)
Of course. You could work in sales, marketing, or as a PM.
There was a documentary about exactly this situation : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2234155/
Land a job in sales and move on from there. Easy peasy!
Look at Publisher Solutions, Marketing Science (Ads), and Media Partnerships.
I'm an engineer that works a lot with sales and marketing people, so the answer is definitely yes.

What kind of job? That's a big part of the equation. And why those specific companies?
Facebook interests me because of my love of digital advertising. I️ taught myself digital marketing from scratch and now spend millions each year buying ads on their platform. As a side hustle at that. But I️ am definitely open to other companies and startups that interest me.
And as for Job I️ am not really sure. I guess that’s what I️ am asking as well. What opportunities exist in these companies outside of finance, accounting, hr etc. I️ love business/product development.
