I don’t have an offer yet. I have 8 month experience and making 80k base at a defense company in LA. But, I am a bit worried the TC will be a low compared to what I am making now since I believe I applied to there TDP program. Do you know if I am able to negotiate TDP offers? How about with a competing offer?! I’m looking at SF or Plano Texas office. I believe sf office is extremely hard to get so most likely get Plano Texas.
How far out from college are you? They generally only take new grads who have graduated within a year. For Plano, their offer is extremely high for the DFW area for entry level. So Plano, you’ll have no issues with money. SF is low I believe. I don’t know if anyone who was able to negotiate their base, only their bonus.
I graduated December 2018 🤔
No.
You can negotiate signing bonus. It's extremely rare to successfully negotiate salary, but possible (I originally did not think so). I only know of one person who was successful in negotiating salary, he had multiple FAANG offers. Both are extremely difficult to negotiate though without leverage, C1 already offers a lot for a non FAANG company
You won’t be able negotiate base but it’s above your current TC. I also was able to receive an off cycle raise my first 6 months when I complained about how low my salary was.
You can not negotiate starting salary. They used to allow you to start as a SA as a TDP but they removed that. Since you’re less than a year out you qualify. Salary will be 80k Plano 90k Richmond 100k McLean 110 or 120k for Ny, SF Only like 5 TDPs get placed in SF so you will probably not be one of them Masters degree will net you a 10k higher offer I believe Ive heard you can negotiate signing bonus
Uh - pretty sure Plano is 90k just like Richmond. And I think it's actually 91 in those two locations, 99 in McLean, and like 113 in NY and SF. I believe bonus is up to either 5 or 8k.
Hmmm I can’t remember my actual offer.
I know TDPs in RVA making a big bump up from 80k

They wouldn’t negotiate their lowball offer with me.
I wonder if they would do the same if you had an offer from G or F
@Cisco an offer from G they wouldn’t believe you would pick C1 over G or F lol
