Has anyone applied and got a PR from Canada? How’s the SWE market? Any good companies out there hiring? How long does it take to get a PR?
Amazon Google Microsoft Salesforce Okta You first get a job in a Canadian company and they will apply for your PR. The software market is poor compared to US.

Salaries are half that of the US, and far fewer open positions. No way does it make sense.
My initial offer here in Canada is 95k base as an L60, 10k stock, no sign on. USD/CAD is 1.3:1 currently. Tax rate is around 10% higher here.
