Applied for Canada visitor visa , got rejected stating no proof of us residence ( have provided visas ) and based on para 172(b) . They stated based on the reason for travel they feel I won’t leave Canada . In US , living here for 10 years ( on H1b still have 10 months for a renewal ) , kid is US citizen . Very happy here and wanted to visit only for a week , provided the hotel and flight details too . Not sure if it was because I have 10 months left before my renewal , why it got rejected ? Anyone faced something similar ? What did you do ? Any follow up helped . TC - 350k
I applied when I was a student in US. It got approved promptly. I guess, you have show some kind strong tie to US which establishes strongly that you would be back to US. I know it sounds all bullshit but guess that's what they look for. Maybe you can get some letter from your HR department or provide a lease document etc. Just thinking out loud.
Thanks I have a house here probably should send them the ownership papers
Orcl, stop feeding the troll. You were denied for a reason. Fix that and reapply.
Just cross the border regardless of laws. If something unpleasant happens, start a protest. :)
You can request the notes and feedback of the officer that rejected your application. That can help you understand the rejection reasons. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/how-to-order-gcms-notes-step-by-step-process.513893/
Thanks a lot will try this ... sounds useful
what does your TC has to do with it ? Show off lol
Sorry blind has a rule of TC or GTFO hence had put it , and for Canada application they want proof I will not immigrate there , hence a high TC atleast validates that I won’t leave this job and migrate to Canada illegally
Ok didn’t know that ..I take that back .. good luck with your application. In the age where it’s easier to get Canadian PR, your visitor visa getting rejected is super weird
Tell them Blind said it would be ok. “They stated based on the reason for travel they feel I won’t leave Canada .” Isn’t “no reason whatsoever”
Would be ok as in I don’t want to go to Canada anymore ? Or if I apply again will be ok 😊
Just tell them you were approved via Blind. We authorized it.
