What’s the base compensation for a senior ux designer with 5+ years of experience in US and in Canada? I’m told Canada is about CAD 100,000 And USA is USD 150,000 IS this accurate?
Cost of living is lower in Canada
Not in Vancouver bro
Maybe if you’re comparing the Bay Area
So I got a job offer for US but have the option to move to Canada but will get less money for the same work and the city in Canada I can go to has a higher living cost which is making this decision super hard
Depends where in the US and if you’re including RSUs into the salary or not. Base is anywhere from $100K to $150K depending on location.
Seattle 100-150k Vancouver might be a better opportunity: - All the large companies have offices there. You could make the same amount of salary. - The cost of living is lower. - Immigration might be easier (?) - Health benefits are better.
