Hi all I am currently a Canadian living in APAC and looking to relocate to Seattle for a Compliance/Risk Manager role. I was in the middle of the interview process and rhe recruiter suddenly said they are not able to sponsorship the TN visa because it is not a technical role.... is there any way around this or any other types of visa I can use? I always thought Canadians only require an employment contract and can already get fhe visa approved at the border without any problems....
They don't want you. Live with it, and find another employer.
They just need to give you an offer and you can get your TN stamp at the border. But the job must fit into one of the categories allowed for TN and you need to have at least a bachelor’s degree for the job

There are non technical TN categories, but you and their lawyers would need to see how that could work. H1B is another possibility.
