Interning at Amazon right now doing deep learning/computer vision and worked at a well known media company this summer in New York. Still can’t seem to get any interviews that I haven’t been referred for. Rejected from Airbnb and FB with interviews, got rejected directly from companies like 2Sigma and HRT. Interview with Google coming up but that’s the only company that has actually responded - I can’t even get responses at IBM, Cisco or Uber (??). What could be the reason? Is Amazon not an instant interview anymore?
Could be your resume. Anything other than amazon? Cool projects?
The other company is a pretty big name - I do have 2 years of research projects listed too involving NLP and mobile with a coauthorship, my personal projects are trash though.
Not sure if they are really actively looking for new grad to fill. Thinking u might missed ur time?
Do you require visa sponsorship?
Companies slowed down their new grad hiring. Too much of them. And too much crap too.
And on top of that, an intern that come from amazon i wouldn't interview him /her. It probably mean he/she wasn't good enough to get an offer.
That is basically me
Hey MarioBros4, there is Cisco which is probably worse than Oracle
