Most of the SLT at Cap One come from analyst backgrounds. Not sure about Discover but the analyst community at Cap One have an amazing community with a ton of dev opportunities and can switch easily between orgs.

Capital one is more data driven and good place for analyst since everything is mostly inhouse, where as discover does analytics but most of the model/analytics are developed at their Shanghai office.
